- Talk to your school counselor or advisor about CTE and other high school programs you might be interested in.
- Take a strong academic program especially if you are thinking about going to a 2 or 4 year college.Math and science courses are some of the most important classes you can take.
- Develop your interests and aptitudes – find things you like doing and things you are good at. Looking at joining a club, team, or youth group… try something new!
- Prepare for the next level of education. If you’re in middle school, look at the courses you want to be able to take in high school and figure out if there are classes you need to take now to qualify.
